Chief Architect X2 is our main drafting software. By far my favorite CAD program, it allows me to draw in 3-D anything from 1 cabinet to complete custom homes. Dimensionally accurate, and able to render any view. The layout feature enables me to produce plans ready for client review, revisions, and permitting.
UDA Construction Suite is a project management suite . It contains excellent Estimating tools and contract templates. It also contains Scheduling, Quickbooks integration and much more.
Microsoft Office can do just about anything to organize, calculate, and collaborate. I use Excel on a daily basis to arrange and calculate price quotes and job costs. My efficiency ensures a fair and consistent price structure.
Autodesk Architectural desktop has long been the industry standard CAD software and is still widely used by engineers and architects, therefore i still use it to quickly interpret and communicate with them. Mostly i use it on site plans and foundation drawings.
We use Quickbooks Premiere Contractors Edition to keep our books, keeping accurate accounting records benifits us and our clients by eliminating errors and miscommunication.
